If you are planning a trip and want to publicise it here please send an email containing "tripsboard" in the subject line to godivetrips@tiscali.co.uk .  If possible include the dates, location, cost, type of diving planned and most importantly how people can contact you.  The board is open to anyone to submit trip details, but the teamgodive tripmaster will publish the trip details here after checking, and has the final say on which trips are included. Sound of Mull 26th April - 1st May 2010
£282 for 4 days diving and 5 nights stay

This will be the 5th year that we have been to The Sound of Mull.

We stay in Lochaline Dive Centre, 44 miles west of Fort William. Within easy access to the clear waters of the Sound, which has some of the best wrecks we have seen in British waters.
The Dive Lodge can sleep 24. Each room sleeps 2, in bunks and has its own toilet and wash basin which were all refurbished last year with individual en-suits and underfloor heating.

There is a large communal cooking area with plenty of fridge and freezer space for all and a seating area with dvd and television.

Please see their website http://www.lochalinedivecentre.co.uk, as they offer a breakfast and dinner option as long as it is pre booked.

The lodge also boasts a large drying room, and storage facility.
They have a well stocked shop and filling station. They can fill to 300bar, also with nitrox and trimix.

2 Minutes walk is the local store, one of Huge Fernley Whitingstall's favourite restaurants, and a local pub which has a good value menu.

The boat is a hard boat which stays out all day and has it's own on board compressor.
4 days Diving , 5 nights stay.

Please send your deposit of £100 to Go Dive. Cheques made out to Ian Frudd, who is the organiser, or bring in cash and we will forward it on and give you a receipt.

Balance MUST be paid by March 30th.

Any questions ask in store, or contact Ian Frudd on Facebook.

Plymouth 21st - 23rd May 2010
£115 B&B and dives

Pete and Pam Hambly are the hosts on the boat and at the B & B. Derby Divers have been their guests now for over 5 years – so actions speak louder than words. We keep going back so it must be good. Their web is http://www.plymouthdivelodge.co.uk/ The Scylla and the James Egan Layne are the most famous wrecks but there are others such as the Persier and Elk. If the weather permits a trip out to Eddystone or Hand Deeps is well worth it. On the 2009 trip the group were very pleasantly surprised by the stunning underwater scenery and wildlife at Eddystone. Divers will need 2 cylinders, air and nitrox fills are available at the Mountbatten Centre.

Book and pay a non returnable deposit of £40 at Go Dive Shop.
This is the only way your place is guaranteed. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure.

West Bay Dorset  12th - 13th June 2010
£75 4 dives

This is a new venue as far as we are concerned and there is a good variety of diving available. West Bay is on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset and diving is in Lyme Bay. You get stunning views even when you are dry! Wrecks such as the St Dunstan, M2 and Baygitano and many others are there as well as the well known scalloping and crabbing ledges. BBQ's on Sat night with your catch? – now there's a thought!. The dive boat is well fitted out and the crew are there to help you enjoy yourself safely. Big plus point for the many women divers – the toilet is big, there is room to swing a cat (that makes a change!). But … Watch out for the complementary pasties and sausage rolls between dives – you have been warned.
No accommodation has been arranged but if you check out the skipper's web site - http://www.westbaydiving.co.uk/
there are many links to B & B's in the area as well as camping. Obviously book in early to ensure a bed. I will be able to inform you of the time of dive boat departure on the Saturday by January. Some divers may want to travel down to West Bay on the Saturday. Divers will need 2 cylinders. Air Fills are available in West Bay.
Book and pay a NON-RETURNABLE DEPOSIT OF £40 at Go Dive Shop. This is the only way your place is guaranteed. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure.

Bridlington Sunday 27th June 2010
£40 One days diving out in the North Sea. 2 Dives.
There is a variety of wrecks to be dived – the itinerary will depend on the experience of the divers and the weather conditions. Divers will need 2 cylinders.

Book and pay £40 at Go Dive Shop. This is the only way your place is guaranteed.

SWANAGE 17th-18th July 2010
£77 4 Dives

The 'Kyara' is the most well known dive out of Swanage and this is a definite one to do. Some divers still find bottles of perfume on the wreck. The others wrecks and reefs can be seen on the skipper's web site http://www.kyarra.com/index3.htm Air and Nitrox fills are available on the pier. Divers will need 2 cylinders.
No accommodation has been booked but I recommend the SwanageAuberge. At only £16 / night B&B and only 2 mins from the pier it has a lot going for it. Parking in Swanage is expensive and if you don't get to the pier early enough you will need to drop off your kit and then find the nearest car park which is about 10 mins walk away. Web site of the auberge is http://swanageauberge.com/ There is camping and B&B's too.
Book and pay a NON RETURNABLE DEPOSIT OF £40 at Go Dive Shop. This is the only way your place is guaranteed. The balance to be paid 6 weeks before departure.

Weymouth 10th - 12th September 2010
£122 2 nights accom. 4 Dives

Portland is renown for it's wrecks so we will not be stuck for choice. Of the course the skipper will decide on the feasibility of some of the wrecks depending on the tide, weather conditions and experience of the party. But there is enough there for all qualifications of AOW upwards. Divers will need 2 cylinders, air fills are available near the quay in Weymouth where we dock. The skipper's web page is http://www.theshipwreckproject.com/grahame.htm .

Accommodation has been booked at the Bunker http://www.skindeepbandb.co.uk/bunker.htm . It is self catering although if you look at the web page, breakfast and a packed lunch can be ordered. Bring your own sleeping bag or pay extra for a duvet. There is also a pub walking distance away and overlooking Chesil Beach that serves excellent meals and has live music on the Saturday night. Highly recommended.

Book and pay a non returnable deposit of £40 at Go Dive Shop.

Farnes 7th - 8th October 2010
£100 2 nights accom. 4 Dives

Andy Gwynne has booked the boat for previous two days to the main group trip. It's open to anyone who missed getting on that ( like Andy ) or just want a long weekend up there.
Itinerary and accommodation as before:-
Sea, seals and wrecks.  Divers will need 2 cylinders.
Accommodation is at Stan Halls – a twin room with shower and toilet within walking distance of a good pub or three.

Farnes 9th - 10th October 2010
£115 2 nights accom. 4 Dives

Sea, seals and wrecks. It is said to be one of the best places to dive - weather permitting of course. They say that the best way to see the seals is to 'sit' quietly underwater and contemplate your navel. The seals curiosity gets the better of them and they come to have a look too. Give it a try. Divers will need 2 cylinders.
