Pete and Pam Hambly are the hosts on the boat and at the B & B. Derby Divers have been their guests now for over 5 years – so actions speak louder than words. We keep going back so it must be good. Their web is http://www.plymouthdivelodge.co.uk/ The Scylla and the James Egan Layne are the most famous wrecks but there are others such as the Persier and Elk. If the weather permits a trip out to Eddystone or Hand Deeps is well worth it. On the 2009 trip the group were very pleasantly surprised by the stunning underwater scenery and wildlife at Eddystone. Divers will need 2 cylinders, air and nitrox fills are available at the Mountbatten Centre. Book
and pay a non returnable deposit of £40 at Go Dive Shop.
West Bay Dorset 12th - 13th June 2010 £75 4 dives This
is a new venue as far as we are concerned and there is a good variety of
diving available. West Bay is on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset and diving
is in Lyme Bay. You get stunning views even when you are dry! Wrecks such
as the St Dunstan, M2 and Baygitano and many others are there as well as
the well known scalloping and crabbing ledges. BBQ's on Sat night with
your catch? – now there's a thought!. The dive boat is well fitted out
and the crew are there to help you enjoy yourself safely. Big plus point
for the many women divers – the toilet is big, there is room to swing a
cat (that makes a change!). But … Watch out for the complementary pasties
and sausage rolls between dives – you have been warned.
Bridlington Sunday 27th June 2010 £40 One days diving out in the North Sea. 2 Dives. There is a variety of wrecks to be dived – the itinerary will depend on the experience of the divers and the weather conditions. Divers will need 2 cylinders. Book
and pay £40 at Go Dive Shop. This is the only way your place is guaranteed.
SWANAGE 17th-18th July 2010 £77 4 Dives The
'Kyara' is the most well known dive out of Swanage and this is a definite
one to do. Some divers still find bottles of perfume on the wreck. The
others wrecks and reefs can be seen on the skipper's web site http://www.kyarra.com/index3.htm
Air and Nitrox fills are available on the pier. Divers will need 2 cylinders.

Weymouth 10th - 12th September 2010 £122 2 nights accom. 4 Dives Portland is renown for it's wrecks so we will not be stuck for choice. Of the course the skipper will decide on the feasibility of some of the wrecks depending on the tide, weather conditions and experience of the party. But there is enough there for all qualifications of AOW upwards. Divers will need 2 cylinders, air fills are available near the quay in Weymouth where we dock. The skipper's web page is http://www.theshipwreckproject.com/grahame.htm . Accommodation has been booked at the Bunker http://www.skindeepbandb.co.uk/bunker.htm . It is self catering although if you look at the web page, breakfast and a packed lunch can be ordered. Bring your own sleeping bag or pay extra for a duvet. There is also a pub walking distance away and overlooking Chesil Beach that serves excellent meals and has live music on the Saturday night. Highly recommended. Book
and pay a non returnable deposit of £40 at Go Dive Shop.
Farnes 7th - 8th October 2010 £100 2 nights accom. 4 Dives See main group week end trip below. Andy

Farnes 9th - 10th October 2010 £115 2 nights accom. 4 Dives Sea,
seals and wrecks. It is said to be one of the best places to dive - weather
permitting of course. They say that the best way to see the seals is to
'sit' quietly underwater and contemplate your navel. The seals curiosity
gets the better of them and they come to have a look too. Give it a try.
Divers will need 2 cylinders.

and pay a non returnable deposit of £40 at Go Dive Shop.
