EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE (EFR)
First Aid and CPR are good skills for anyone involved in adventure sports (just in case) or even just for every day life. Having these skills is also a prerequisite for the PADI Rescue Diver Course.

On this course you will learn:
    * BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing.
    * AED (automated external defibrillator) use.
    * Preventing and caring for shock.
    * Spinal injury management
    * Use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk
    * Basic first aid and first aid kit considerations

EFR – CARE FOR CHILDREN
The Emergency First Response Care for Children course is an innovative CPR, AED and First Aid training course that teaches participants how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children (ages one to eight) and infants less than one year old.

The EFR Care for Children course will train you to follow the same priorities of care used by medical professionals. You will master the priorities and the procedures of patient care for infants.

EMERGENCY OXYGEN PROVIDER SPECIALTY
Be the one ready to help a fellow diver should the need arise by becoming a PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider.

On this course you will learn:
    * Uses of Emergency Oxygen – What is it, why is it good for you, what life-threatening problems can it be used to help with.
    * Diving Injuries – what are the signs and symptoms of the main diving related injuries and what can you do to help the victim.
    * Emergency Oxygen Equipment – What types of equipment are available. When should each be used. How is it used.
    * Safety Procedures for handling oxygen.
